A pair of sterling silver stud earrings featuring segmented abalone shell inlay. Each earring is composed of small pieces of iridescent shell set within polished silver borders, creating a natural mosaic of shifting blues and greens. The curved silhouette and shell inlay technique are characteristic of late twentieth-century Mexican silver jewellery, particularly pieces produced in the renowned silversmithing workshops of Taxco.
