A sterling silver brooch in the Art Nouveau manner — silver worked into a rising spray of flame-like fronds, all sinuous whiplash curves that seem to flicker upward. Deep red garnet cabochons are set among them: a large oval anchoring the base, two smaller stones caught in the curl of the flames. The oxidised finish sinks into every line so the silver reads like living fire. A proper pin-and-clasp back, made to be worn at the collar or lapel.
